The AT&T Building

The AT&T building now known as the SONY building was build in 1984 by Philip Johnson and John Burgee. The building is located on 55st. and Madison avenue. The building is six hundred and sixty feet tall and it has thirty seven stories. The building is made out of steel and glass, the features are granite-clad, and goldleaf. It has a monumental base and a distinctive broken pediment at the top. The color of the exterior walls are beige and the windows look black. This building is very beautiful and it's architectural design is very unique. At first glance of the building we thought that although it's unique in its own way, it is also kind of plain.
